Dear FutureMe,
It's been 1 full year since you married your sweetheart John. It should be clear to both yourself as well as the rest of the world that you are extremely happy with your existence and that anything you've done since that fatefull day in 2005 is nothing short of extraordinary. This is what I had hoped for however. If you have not done anything miraculous or that requires a good pat on the back, don't fret. I'm sure that, as with anything, time will help in this matter.
Remember, you are a strong person, and never forget to be confident in anything you do. It'll be interesting to see what you have achieved in one year. Hopefully, you have a home, and are starting to think of a family. You are still happily married (which I know will be the case), and you and John are well on your way to making a success of your life together. I wonder though, if you will still be in America. This I was never sure of, but then again, no one can be so sure of anything, especially if you haven't actually been to LA yet. I know that you and John will both make the right choice though as to where to live and to make your family.
I actually feel kind of strange writing this in the third person, as though I am writing to an old friend whom I haven't seen in a long time. But then again, you ARE an old friend who hasn't been a part of my life in a while. I was 24 when I wrote this, and now, a year later, I am older and a little wiser (I hope).
Well, that's long enough.
Alina
