a million things to remember

Dear FutureMe, This whole email your future self is such an intersting concept...it is so scary, funny, amazing how quickly a year goes by. This email actually comes at an interestingly opportune time - by the time you get this, you will have been out of college for exactly one year. I hope you remember that when it all comes down to it - you did your best for the most part. Sometimes you are way too hard on yourself. Remember that you ARE educated, driven when you want to be and most importantly, you are loved. Remember all the important things about college- the amazing experiences and people who made you who you are today. There are so many people out there who love you, girly. I hope you have kept in contact with them -if not, be inspired to do so. Remember last year, being in California - hold on to that dream and pursue it, but don't worry if it takes time and if it just wasn't meant to be - then remember there is beauty in letting go - find a new dream and run after it just as intensely. I hope you are just as happy today as you were on that cloudy, quiet Saturday one year ago when this was written. If not, you know what to do...wait it out and one day I know it will all come rushing back to you just as it did this past sememster after everything on your to do list was FINALLY checked off...after four amazing years. I know you know to hang on to those tiny yet ever so important and meaningful memories that are so hopeful and happy and amazing - you know what they are-long drives w/ your friends in the middle of the night, hanging out at the apartments in V.R. and the H.R.gas station until all hours of the night...road trips, Singspiration! sweet phone conversationsw/ off campus friends, your hilarious and beautiful apartment mages, listening to J.P. play the guitar, your first night back from CA in the parking lot w/ your friends, so many more...having those kinds of experiences are a HUGE part o the reason why you came to college. Remember that when it comes right down to it...you ARE growing, you have grown and you do have the potential to become the woman you were created to be. I hope by now, you are on the way to many wonderful adventures - don't lose that wild, restless spirit you have girly - until you are ready. There IS something special and so unique and powerful about that and it is so rare to find in the girls who come where you come from. O.K. well, hopefully next year you will be wiser, spunkier, smarter, thinner :), and NOT so long-winded..sheesh! This was so interesting. I hope I forget I wrote this so in a year, it will come as a surprise, but who knows... MUCH MUCH love,
