A letter from Jun 26, 2023

Time Travelled — almost 1 year

Peaceful right?

Dear PastMe & FutureMe, Hey! I finally just read the letter from June 23rd, 2021 and well nothing much has changed. It feels pretty normal being aged 15 but at least I get to say I'm turning 16 soon which seems crazy. I ended up doing online school at ASU prep digital for 9th and 10th-grade year so yeah...however my mental health has gotten better and this year wasn't that bad for me. That's mostly because I'm looking forward to the future since me and Kinz made the decision to go back to prep IN PERSON. I'm not scared at all I'm honestly overjoyed and I can't wait for summer to be over. Unfortunately, because of online school, I didn't make any new friends but that will change in a month and also no, we didn't go to all of the cool places mom and dad were talking about. In fact, I can't really remember what places they talked about and we weren't able to go to any place like Sedona or California this summer. Overall, I have been pretty unproductive and I spend my days watching intervention episodes and writing in my notebook. I want to go out more but there always seems to be an excuse. Also, no I'm not dating anyone and I didn't date anyone but I really want to and that's mostly the type of stuff I write about in my notebook. Lastly, I'm doing okay but I'm excited for next year so I don't really think too much about the lack of stuff I'm doing. Now that I responded to past me I'm going to ask a few things about future me. What's up bro your 16 now! I'm hoping you got to date someone because that was one of the goals of the year. If not that's okay better luck next year. Do you still want to go to college for film (I really hope the school didn't make you that lame) and who are you friends with now? Was dance fun and do you plan on doing it next year? How are the parents? Did mom stick to the whole separate houses thing and if so how is it at two households? Did you still get straight A's this year or at least A's and B's? What are the plans for the rest of the summer and what have you done so far? Okay...last question how is your mental health and how was your 16th birthday party? Overall, I hope you are doing better than ever and I'm really excited for you because I know that you'll be better and happier than you are now so yeah. Love, past me <3
