The future

Dear FutureMe, My current dream is to live. By that, I don't mean forcing my self through everyday, because I have to. I mean going to bed each night, not being able to wait for the next day to start, wanting to better myself and achieve goals. At the time of this letter, I am 13 years old. The only thing I care about... the only thing that cares about me, is music. My goal in life is to be in a band. Not a famous, rich, band with self centred, arrogant peers. A 'Band to save your life' with people who I love and care about music as much as myself. I want to have fans who care about us as much as we care about them, I want to save people's lives, as music has saved mine. My absolute dream, which I know will take so much to come true, is to go on 'Warped tour'. To travel with so many amazing bands and amazing people would be indescribable. In the past year I have been from attempted suicide, self-harming and substance abuse to therapy and looking at the world in a different light. I want to make something of myself, which brings me to the purpose if this letter. This will arrive on May 6th, 2008, my 15th birthday. This letter will be a reminder of my purpose and all I must achieve. Use your talent, exceed it and show the world you're not just some fucked up emo kid that gives up. We can make it, just try...
