i'm jealous of you

Dear FutureMe, It's true, I'm jealous of you. As I was trying to enter a subject, I found myself feeling self-conscious as I tried to make it cool enough for a 23-year-old New Yorker with her own job and apartment. It's always sort of a confidence booster to see myself as I imagine someone else would... So, for now the plan is to move in with Mike and Sue and the kids in CT and work at the club until I can get my own place and a job in the city. Hope that worked out for you. I wonder what kind of work you're doing. I hope you've been going on auditions. If not, think about it. I hope you're either auditioning or traveling. Been abroad yet? Here's my dream of the ideal thing you could be doing right now: a) have an apt in the city b) have a job that either pays decently or rewards you some other way c) be going on auditions d) be traveling and writing about it If you're doing all or most of those things, I admire you. Don't forget to have all your little cousins visit you. Now go buy yourself a bottle of champagne and celebrate.
