Dear FutureMe,
A year ago, which to me is right now, everything was potential. I'm hoping it worked out that way. Maybe the thing to do is work towards making this letter come true, a la Bradbury's Toynbee Convector. I know I'll be receiving this letter, and so I'll want to make it as good and right and accurate as possible.
The blog is going as well as I think it's going to go -- there is a point where you hit the top mark on this sort of thing, after all. I'm still enjoying it, though, and thousands of people are as well, each and every day. The webcomic looks primed and ready to launch, and that's exciting for me.
And the rest? Well, work is, you know? It's acceptable, and that's all I have to say for it. It gives me the freedom I want, and I'm not unhappy going, and since I'm otherwise happy in life, we'll call it a positive. Particularly since the year before it was such Hell.
I've lost 130 lbs so far, and with luck I'll keep going.
I hope you're well, and healthy, and thinner than I am. Let me know, huh?
