Dear FutureMe, please tell me it gets better. i hate him. i mean, i love him, but i hate him so much. he says he isnt selfish, yet never actually cares about me. its always him him him. he says he’s a pathological liar, so what all has he lied about? does he really love me? he shuts down whenever he does something to upset me, and shuts down whenever i do something to upset him. thats all he does, no matter what. even if its the littlest thing that eventually gets solved through communication, his immediate response is to shut down and make both of us feel worse than if he just said what was going on in the first place rather than hours later. im tired. im so so tired. does it get any better? is therapy helping him? is therapy helping me? i love him so. much.
