A letter from May 28, 2023

Dear Future Me, I'm writing this letter to you because of many reasons. It's summer right now and school just ended. And I'm also moving away to a new place where I'll be all alone and have no friends. I fell for this guy. His name was Aiden and he was always mean to me and never liked to hang out with me or talk to me or just interact with me in general. I wish I could say that I've moved on but all I feel is broken and empty, like my heart's been shattered into a million peices. I hope that I get better at playing the flute and maybe even learn a new instrument. Do I make any friends at my new school? Did I stay friends with my best friends from Orlando? Do I ever move on from Aiden, or do I get stuck? Did I ever get to learn a new instrument? Does it get better? I hope your life is great. Can't wait to get there. See you in a bit! -Past Yashica
