Hey 23,
its ur past self. Happy 24th birthday, I just read someones future letter that said they were halfway to 30 and, dang, I guess you're way closer than that. its already 10 year since you were 14...
I feel like the past year gave me more strength and confidence to deal with ********. Im far from perfect but I believe in improving, one day at time. Hopefully you'll be better off from where Im at. Did you manage to get job in Iowa?? What stuff are you up to. Did we get a car or are we using Mikes car?
I think the scariest part of future is, its so uncertain, sometime I have some idea but sometime its like blind drive in dark. Its October 7th and if you remember, we are in middle of starting a huge new chapter in our life. Im typing this in rest area in Nevada because we're moving to Iowa. Ive never been to Iowa. I have no idea what to expect.
I just finished a scary drive through road work where I had to cross super bumpy white line. Its like, the unknown came and I had to be brave to face it.
Im sure you'll have your own struggles and worries for future just like myself. but hey, you once did it and braved the cross country move to Iowa, you'll be able to brave the next unknown after all our fate is in universes hand and universe will protect and guide us. Just like how it gave us 16 feet truck for price of 12.
If things seem extra fustrating, it is for a good reason.
I love you. I hope Iowa is good to you, its one of the reason why Im driving 1700 mile over after all.
Blessed be and Happy Mabon.
Infinite Love,
Your past,
23
p.s. Hows that burt bees chapstick collection coming along? so far I have Pomegranate for Cali + Vanilla Bean for Nevada. Did we finish the collection?
Epilogue
1 day laterHello my cherished past self, 23,
Thank you for the birthday wishes. I wanted to confirm that I am better off...just with our daily effort bit by bit, it paid...
