A letter from Jul 20, 2022

Dear FutureMe, Hello! Well it’s currently 20/7/22 and you just turned 17! this week you are going to a boys’s house for the first time (terrifying) (MG) and you are actually excited. let me know how that goes if you even remember by the time you’re reading this. I am sending this for around the last days of november 2023. You are finishing high school. How do you feel? is it truly that scary? are you sad? TELL ME EVRYTHING. i actually hope you are so happy. i am very happy right now, im having a BUENA RACHA ! wich usually means everything’s going to **** soon. but yeah. i think solving that “santos” problem was very good for me. god im so happy i dont like him anymore. and im so happy that he treats me as a friend and he loves me as much as i love him. it’s been like seven ******* months since o told him, SEVEN MONTHS! it was literally yesterday for me. God time is flying! you are probably laughing cause you remember sending this letter two days ago, but it wasn’t. by this time you have already gone to bariloche, you’ve already turned 18, you had your party, you saw HARRY! GOD YOU SAW HARRY! you have GOT TO TELL ME ABOUT THAT. you saw don’t worry darling and my policeman more than one years ago, YOU PROBABLY SAW DWD WIN OSCARS! i’m so jealous of you right now, i’m sure you remember in quarantine when he started filming and how long you had to wait for that god**** movie. Anyways i’m actually writing this because i remembered that in 2020 right before my 15th birthday i send emails to both my 17 and 18 yo self. but i they don’t seem to have arrive. that’s sad actually because i know how much i’ve changed and really wanted to read it, but anyways, im sure i’ll find those. I’m sure you’re starting to get bored so i’m keeping it simple, you are going to live with yourself for the rest of your life, and today a new chapter approaches, god i really hope you’re reading this your last day of school, but yeah. You’re not seeing your friends anymore, not as often as you did. But new people will enter your life, SO much people, you have an entire ******* life ahead of you! a life full of happiness and disappointments and love and sadness and emotions and everything that just makes life, life. “i never had any friends later on, not like the ones i had when i was twelve, jesus. Does anyone?” and i hope that remains in your head forever, i hope you keep the momento es you have until now, and treasure them. Because you are making new ones, and i’m proud of you for that. WELL OKAY, also i wanted to tell you how talented you are, you have so many skills to show and improve, don’t be sad because you’re not the best. You try so hard. Everybody believes and you and everybody LOVES YOUU! I love you, and I believe and you. so yeah, that’s it i think. I KNOW i’m forgetting something but honestly who cares. I LOVE YOU VAL. -17 y\o val
