A letter from Apr 14th, 2022

Dear FutureMe, Happy Birthday my beautiful, charming, brilliant, and lovely girl. I'm so proud to see you grow and evolve - you have achieved so much. Never forget how special and talented you are. You are one of a kind. Keep it up beautiful, you know what's right for you. Trust your judgment, ignore the opinions of jealous fellows - you're perfect. Keep your head up and fly as high as the stars. Severe the links that keep you from moving forward - don't let anyone play with your heart. Make friends and enjoy your time on earth, it won't come back. Remember to appreciate the enjoyment and satisfaction that studying gets you, even though it sometimes comes with frustration and a couple of tears, you wouldn't have loved it the way you do without these. I wish you a very happy birthday! You are an unstoppable force, no object is immovable when hit by your very own determination and fierceness. Burn with fire scorching so hot it will torch all your self-doubts to the ground and ignite your passion with limitless fuel. Attack every goal with vigor and you will never be disappointed, nor stopped. No wall is strong enough to keep you out. Shield your heart from those willing to hurt you, you know your worth. And if you ever feel even the slightest snippet of self-doubt, burn it, bury, wash it and send it far far away. A girl like you should never doubt her ability to take on the entire world. On a final note, I sincerely wish you to feel loved, appreciated, and genuinely happy. I wish you luck and confidence in your big exams to come, you can do it all with grace and most importantly, a smile. You can walk through hell and back with a smile and a pirouette. I love you, celebrate yourself. Celebrate your body, achievements, wit, and determination. Wear a bikini this summer, go to the pool, talk to the people who catch your eye, and throw out those who try to shave your wings bit by bit. I trust you and have the utmost faith in you that you will do great things one day. You are the future, my brilliant girl, all you have to do is dye it in your colors. Dream big my love, you can achieve every goal you set your sight on. You are your only enemy, befriend the darkness in you, accept it and nourish it. The light is useless without the dark to give it purpose. Everything you need is already in you, use it to your advantage. Let your friends know you love and appreciate their time, cut old ties that mess with your head. Fill your life with the people who make you smile, the people who make you happy, and the people who strike your curiosity and call on your passions. Surround yourself with the people you see as your equals, those are the people that will make you the happiest. Once again my love, love, cry, burn, and do what you love with the passion of a woman who knows her goals, a woman who knows her worth. Let the people around you feel your passion and let them cushion your falls and shortcomings. Remember, "Even Angels Fall... We Fall Together" and remember the words of Avicii "We will crack before we shatter". Keep an eye out for the cracks, not everyone expects you to wear their favorite mask of you. And when you feel shattered and weak, remember that there is always tomorrow, and tomorrow, the dice could rule in your favor. It isn't over, all the while the dice keep rolling. Go with your heart and never look back, make your decisions purely in your interest. And your ex, at least I hope he is by now unless he changed significantly, should have tried harder to satisfy you. Don't stay somewhere you aren't satisfied, you deserve pleasure and satisfaction just like anybody else and even more so. Take it as a lesson. A partner should be your equal and nothing less, you deserve someone who will make your curiosity tingle alongside other parts. When a partnership ceases to do that, it means it has run its course and it's time to redirect.
