Dear FutureMe, I hope you're alive to read this. Not that you wouldn't be. I just know you tend to struggle from time to time. You should ask someone for help, if you haven't already.
You're 18 today, right? A big step, if you ask me. You're an adult now, able to make all the decisions you want. How does it feel? Is it fun? I hope so. That'll be me one day.
How are Mom and Dad? You still talk to them, right? If you don't, you should. Dad definitely. Mom, maybe. Say hi to lil Andie for me, too. I know she's not little anymore, but I still can't help but call her that. She'll always be little Andie to me.
How are things with Julian? Good, I hope. I like him a lot. Today's your birthday, so he must have done something cool. Tell him you love him, because I know you do. At least, I know I do. I didn't see him today, so I really miss him. I wish I could tell him I love him. I don't think he'd say it back though, since we're only teenagers.
Make sure your grades are up as well. You've always been so diligent, so don't start slacking now. The year is almost over, so you don't have much time.
I need some advice. I know you won't see this for two years, but it doesn't matter. I'll still figure it out anyway. How do I explain to someone that they can't worry about every little thing? I know I do, and that's why I'm so anxious. Well, not so much anymore because of Julian, but still. You don't have to write back. I don't expect you to.
