A letter from Feb 13th, 2022

Time Travelled — 12 months

Peaceful right?

Dear Katie, Your 25th birthday was 2 days ago. It was awful just like every birthday since you were 6. Hardly any calls, mom and dad were out of town, your BF was at work all day. I didn’t set any expectations because I knew what it was going to be. Today is super bowl Sunday 2022 and you are currently procrastinating on writing a paper for your diversity class. By the time you read this, you will have graduated already and hopefully have a full time job again at the clinic. Or not! Maybe god has other plans. That is not for me to know at this time. Valentine’s Day tomorrow should be a good time. You have a 10am class and the rest of the day free. You and J—— are going out to dinner. Mom returns from Chicago on Thursday from visiting with Grandma. Blah blah blah blah. Not much has changed. I hope this finds you in good health and spirits! ♥️♥️ You

God definitely has plans. i feel the whole bday thing with that gut punch of it not being a good day. but be encouraged. psalm 37:7 if it feel like God is silent, He might be waiting for you to slow down so you can hear His whisper
