A letter from Feb 1st, 2022

Dear Future Me, I really didn't know I could miss someone so much. I liked him as a friend even going one year without seeing him. to be honest I thought I never see any of them after that last day. after starting this 2nd semester at this school and seeing his face on my first day. it was a total movie scene I don't think I'll ever forget his face. I even looked back twice but by then I was dragged away. he is so poetic, intelligent, charming, and sweet. ask me to go with him to my first homecoming dance. keeps mentioning valentine's day but keeps me with little knowledge. giving him hugs felt so normal. he understands my humor I didn't think I could be funny. he teaches me something new all the time. I'm glad we can talk in person now. I like that we can be serious but also have plenty of fun. I never thought I would have this type of relationship. he sent a song called "U 2 Luv" and I love it. eventually, I will send "dandelions" by ruth. before we have any type of relationship we both want to be better people and to really have a life. before seeing him I didn't realize how down and not happy or myself. I've learned that my emotional self has a big effect on me as a person. i wonder where is my life going because I have no predictions. thank you Khaai.
