1/9/2006 Dear Melinda Grace soon to be Walker, how are you feeling right now? you are going to be marrying the one person who you want to be with for the rest of your life tomorrow. are you happy? scared? nervous? what have the last 7 months been like? have they been stressful with the wedding planning? or joyous knowing that you are finally going to marry the person you love? please do me a favor and relax tomorrow and have fun and dont worry about the little details. they will all work them selves out. did you reach your goal of loosing 10 lbs? if yes then i am so proud of you and if not i still think you are a beautiful person and no matter what you are going to look beautiful and graceful and elegent tomorrow. i know you are still 18 and i know you have a lot of life ahead of you but be happy. it is all okay. stay true to your dreams and let nothing sway you from your happiness. not even adam going to another country with out you, or him going to war, or heaven forbid him being killed. keep to your dreams. they are what will hold you together. you are taking a brave brave step by marrying a man in the military but you are a strong woman and no matter what happens remember God is always there to help love and support you and adam.
