Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Coming into this new year you’re bringing in even more accomplishments and some obstacles to overcome. Last year was full of opportunity and towards the end you hit a stump. The new job was a great decision and now there’s even another opportunity knocking, but you’ve lost the flare in worth ethic. It’s mainly due to school and feeling trapped having to deal with continuing your degree when you’ve really started scratching the surface of developing financial stability without the waste of going to college. It’s been an aggravating experience, you want to be free and really get your life started. That lead to failing 3/4 of your classes and having to retake 310 and 330 for a third time. Another fail would mean getting kicked out of school and honestly you didn’t care and hope you could just stop. But of course Dad and even Master Higgins had to be the voice of reason. You’re not built to be a quitter and deep down you knew , leaving school after coming this far wasn’t going to sit right. On top of that you still have set backs that you can’t control (being black and a women) that can come back to bite without seeing this through as well as the stupidity of paying off school loans with no degree 📜. So, this year passing all your courses and getting honor roll all the way to graduation is the firm goal. The first step is Spring 22’ semester. Your confidence is not crushed and you know you can achieve this, you were just going through a rebellious state. At the end of the day you weren’t born no quitter and you know it’s not a failure unless you’ve given up. You’re strong and this situation is giving the vibe of “3 feet from gold”. You’ve still been strictly investing your money and paying yourself first. You have an amazing girlfriend that’s given you an un-experienced connection. There’s no doubt you’ll still be with her when you get this next year. Even if you’re not there will be much you’ve learned from the relationship in a positive way. Keep chipping away, the gold is nye! When you’re reading this you’ll have transcended past your expectations and be at a level you never thought you’d be at already when typing this. The one thing that dad said when talking to you about failing those courses is that you need to tie everything into your life and what you like. This made me realize I’m already free and the only way I’d be trapped is if that’s my mindset. With this new focus coming just in time for the fresh restart it’s truly only upwards from here. You’re going to be a millionaire, when you read this 🤙🏽.
