Dear 22 year old me,
I hope you are doing okay. I haven't written a letter to my future self in quite a long time and I promise you I'm going to start doing it again. First and foremost, I want you to know that I'm proud of you.
I'm writing this right before Thanksgiving break and finals are coming up and it's kind of hitting all at once that you are almost done with college. When you get this, it would have been one year since you were so anxious about the unknown. I don't know where you are right now and what you've been doing but I'm proud of you for getting there. I hope you are having a wonderful time and I want you to know that I'm rooting for you as are all of your past selves. I know you have certain expectations of your future self and post-grad life but it doesn't really matter. What matters is your happiness and I hope you are full to the brim right now. If you aren't, I want you to know that it's okay and all that's important is that you are in control of your life and your happiness. Don't forget our belief that everything is meant to be and everything will turn out alright. Never forget that I love you and I'm proud of you.
You have come so far since I've last sent a letter. Remember the dark days and learn to embrace them as they've shaped you for who you are. It's so so hard to be brave in the face of the unknown but it's okay. Don't fight it because this is how you grow. Also, don't be afraid to ask for help! I know you struggle with that but you are an adult now so get over it. Live the life you've always wanted. Stop waiting for the future or some great big something to happen that will finally give you your dream life. You are in control of your story so go out there and make It happen
I hope you and have a happy Thanksgiving & Christmas. Good luck, my love :).
Yours truly,
November '21 Selena
Epilogue
