A letter from Oct 22nd, 2021

Time Travelled — 7 months

Peaceful right?

Dear Future Me, If you're reading this letter with fond eyes and smiling that crooked smile it means I am probably doing alright. Even if it isn't I hope this letter will help you in some way. This was so weird the first time I wrote this. Somehow the idea of writing to your future self was just as intriguing as it was outlandish. But in the end, as you can very well guess my curiosity won me. And here I am writing this to you, my future 16-year-old, studying your last year. Life has been so far treated me well if not sleep-deprived. The burden of studies and accomplishing something increases as the day goes on. But I am still floating, somedays I feel I am sinking but my lifeguard saves me always. Our family is the most precious thing we have even when they sometimes irritate you to no end. I don't have many things to say to you right now but there is some advice I should say to you. Maybe you will be annoyed by this thinking my past self was so naive but regardless I will say this, after all, we are both reckless kind. Do not let anyone distract you from what you want. Do not seek others false appreciation. Do it even you're alone as long as you think it's right. Do not be let down by your failures. Make them your stepping stones. You are unique. Don't let others think you otherwise. Haters gonna hate you but you gotta love yourself. And for now, that's it. Your Proud Past Self, AR Ps. You know we tend to be a little bit poetic or rather let's say dramatic. And Happy Birthday Girl!!! Go conquer your dreams.
