A letter from Sep 30th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, Hey! You’ll probably receive a lot of letters from you this month! Big month, we turn 19..another year WOW. I just was scrolling through ig and I follow a lot of Christian people who are getting married, dating etc. and they seem so happy. I know I shouldn’t idolize relationships online but I can’t help but compare it to my..what ever it is. And think wow I deserve THAT and what I have now doesn’t look like it could ever grow into that. I truly hope it does, but if it doesn’t it’s okay just DONT stick around and loose yourself. The odds are already against you, an immigrant with no legal documentation, no financial support from parents to get things like a car or go to collage, nothing to your name, no one to really rely on for emotional support, feeling so alone in this world some times, with all of that.. why stick around with someone who doesn’t uplift you, show you love, shoot ! Why stick around with someone who isn’t truly loyal, someone u have to threaten or catch for them to admit and see where they fall short. It’s alot of wasted time and energy that we just don’t have to give and invest into something who won’t give it back ..but we’re ganna do great things! Some how some way God will make a way out of no way and we claim it! We believe it! But a one sided bare minimum effort relationship doesn’t need to be in the picture. Truly you are more than enough and shouldn’t stay where your value isn’t seen. You have God and it’s all that remains it’s all that matters. Just a reminder tho I know you probably don’t need it! Just in case 💓 remember you have God on your side, You have already won.
