A letter from Aug 5th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, School should have started by now. Is 8th grade scary? I guess you'll still be going to the same school so it can't be that bad. I'm scared of getting lost, the school is like a maze! HOW DO PEOPLE NAVIGATE IT?! Are you going to take Spanish with that nice teacher? Any genraly nice teachers? Only hang with good influences! Are there any cute boys?... Or girls? Did you decide on your sexuality yet? Or are you still questioning? Oh my gosh DO YOU HAVE A GIRL/BOYFRIEND?!?!? That totally slipped from my radar, you can be in relationships in 8th grade!! Is there a new scary covid variant or has it faded mostly? Tbh, you can't control life, It's common knowledge, but you can't let life control you. You are: You're sunshine. You ARE smart. You are the funniest, most awesome, optimist, coolest, prettiest person on Mars. And if anyone says you're not... piff no one will say that who am I kidding!
