A letter from Jun 16th, 2021

Time Travelled — 12 months

Peaceful right?

Dear Future Sophia, This year was pretty crazy and it took a big toll on us mentally. We barely connected with our teachers and we started becoming less and less focused in class. But we were able to get through it and persevere through it. We met a lot of new classmates but also some familiar faces, and we joined the newspaper club. No matter how minor the role is, we were apart of something. You were able to write one of your best works and that made you feel complete. The overload of projects hit you hard though and math was harder than ever! You got to know some of your classmates more and the workload got harder and harder. Plus, at least your art skills got better! Next year will be better than the last. Senior year---imagine all the possibilities! Maybe our art and writing will get even more better? Maybe you will get into a good arts high school or just a regular good high school? Whatever it is, we'll need to be ready. Hopefully you are. From, Sophia Suriel age 12.
