A letter from May 19th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, I pray that God has kept you to today. If you are in fact reading this on your 34th birthday, praise God for his faithfulness. He has allowed you to see another year. These last few years have not been the happiest and when it looked like things were turning they went back to the same. You have carried your sadness and pride for so long, trying to do it in your own strength, submitting but only partially. So I am happy that you are choosing to not only submit to God but to also be obedient unto *****. He is the only one who can guide you through this life, there is nothing else that this life can offer that compares to the love of God. He wants to lead you into all righteousness; to see his goodness in the land of the living; to experience and delight in his awesome presence. He has called you to pour into the lives of others through your prayers and words; you are called to be a well-spring of life to those around you. I hope that you are smiling today, that you have grown closer to him and are flowing in partnership with the Holy Spirit. Continue to be obedient to his will and reliant on him always, for apart from him you can do nothing. I hope that your relationship with Richard has grown even deeper and more lovingly. He is God's representation of authority for you here in this life, continue to yield to him and honour him as you should. Don’t forget to remind him constantly about the love you have for him. I pray that in this season as you have yielded that the Lord has guided you into the plans he has for you concerning a profession; that you are mastering the mundane and making an impact regardless of the environment. Do all things as unto God and not unto man, we don't go by our feelings but what we know to be true. Do you what you need to do. How is business? Have you been able to grow it? I hope that it supports your passion. I am thinking that your exercise regimen has gone well, you should be on EPIC II. Summer body loaded! Remember that strength is the most important thing, not a slim body but a toned one with those thick thighs that you like. Remember that what matters most if the state of your heart and not your physique. Finally, do not be wise in thine own eyes but fear the Lord and depart for evil. Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. Continue in him. I am excited to see what comes next. Janine
