A letter from Apr 18th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, Today I found out my baby is having a baby. She took her test a day early. Looks like her due date is Christmas. It's so exciting but so surreal. I only want the best for her. She deserves good things to happen in her life. She and her wife had to use a donor which is very typical in same sex relationships. And the kid pics of this donor are adorable. He's Chinese and so very cute. His smile was so big and full of life! So grandbaby #8 will be 25% black & white each and 50% Chinese. It's funny because our daughter is always mistaken for part Asian. I have to wait 9 months to see this little bundle of joy. 2020 was a crazy year and now 2021 is bringing me 2 grandbabies. Our first one of the year was born 2 weeks ago on Easter and now we have the potential to have one on Christmas. God is so GOOD!!! As much as it is likely to have multiples I kinda hope there is only one bun in the oven. With #3 living so far away I feel like they would have to move back by us if they have multiples. That would be so cool but not really what their plans are. So, a year has gone by since the big news. What is going on? How are the babies? We have one who just turned 1. Did #3 have multiples and we have 2 or more babies that are 4 or more months old by now? Or did she just have 1? How are you doing? You decided to go to therapy because it's been so much going on with Covid and all the social injustice, murders by the police and so many mass shootings. Are you still in regular therapy or are you spreading it out some now? How is graduate school? By the time you get this letter you will be halfway done. How is work? Any exciting news or promotions or raises? Did we win a championship last year and are we on track this year to do that? Have we lost any weight? What are we at with our house savings? Did we get out car fixed or sell it? Did Hot Hun get a new job? So many things can change in the next year which is sorta crazy! Well, I can't wait to hear the update! Love you! Me/Us/We
