A letter from March 2nd, 2021

Dear FutureMe, I know this was a tough time for you, but I know that you have what it takes to pull through. Heart break is so hard to deal with. Please try to stay strong. It's important that you do because I'm depending on you, and our 9-yr-old self is depending on you too. Think about her and all of the ambition she had. She would be disappointed if you gave up now. I know it's hard to go it alone sometimes. Especially when you dreamed of a happy home. Here is the thing. You are still loved by many, and it's time to take flight and complete, not compete. I love you. Do NOT forget that. Ever. And if you feel down, just step outside and look up at those wonderful blue skies. Only the divine can create that. Only the blessed can see its beauty. I'm sharing this letter with the public because others might need this today as much as You. I know you don't mind because your heart, no matter how bruised and broken will always give.
