A letter from February 25th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, I just had a low point where J didn't really respond to me asking him about my moving to SF, and I assumed that maybe he doesn't really think about our future together at all. And later he reassured me he does. But I want you to know that either way, you have to follow your dreams and desires. Your happiness cannot depend on your partner's decisions. You will be fine even if you break up, are single, feel lonely. Haven't you been through it all before? And don't you always come out better in the end? Remember to fearlessly live a messy and struggling life, because inside the mud and grime, is where you reach deep and find those gems of happiness. Struggle = Growth. Growth = Happiness. Remember what resilience feels like.
