Dear FutureMe,
So as you already know I was diagnosed with epilepsy almost 8 months ago. Things have been rough. I'm still in IL, haven't moved yet. I'm looking forward to the car ride to WA though. I hope we don't get stuck in the snow. I hope you're happy now. I hope freshman year went well and you were able to go into school and to make a bunch of friends. It's crazy that you're a sophomore and you're officially 16!!!!! That's absolutely insane bro you've made it SO far. I wonder if you and Jackie are still friends. I hope you still talk to Lauren and Cece a lot. I'm writing here because Mami got me that book "How to be happy (or at least less sad)" and I decided to start working on it today on November, Friday the 13th, 2020 (the second Friday the 13tj of 2020 *eyeroll*). I wonder who your best friend is at the moment. Is homeroom still as fun as it was when you played among us on Teams at home? I hope all is going well. I'm looking for a bit of hope because I don't have much right now, so receiving this letter will be the one thing I look forward to. I hope you have the best birthday you've ever had and that you're truly happy. I love you.
xoxo past you
