A letter from August 17th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, Today amidst cleaning and prepping your home for the next chapter you realised that this man had abused your trust... When he said he was single whilst still emotionally involved with another woman When he continued to communicate with you despite having no intention to be a genuine friend - just to keep you hooked to for convenience / his own financial/ emotional benefit When he critiqued you in public at AGM When he used you to get a tenant for financial gain And not even said thank you. When he threw his fling affair into your face and asked you if it was awkward You now feel sad and so violated, so sad, as if someone emotionally raped you. I see you, I hear you. And I am here with you through this pain. We’ll get through this together. There will be time in not too distant future, to delete Facebook, change what’s app and stay low key low. Doing the house up, working on business and meditating. Keep moving in this direction, your dreams will save you. As for this person - you can’t even call him a man now - he simply does not matter any more. Become indifferent to things that make difference. And he does not. Keep going, keep moving forward. You will get your happy - your own individual content that’s unique for you and is working for you and it simply does not matter any more what he thinks of you. I love you, I will always love you D x
