A letter from June 17th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, Hey darling. I'm (17/6/2020) currently waiting for the Turkish books I hope you've read by now to download on my phone. You better be educated on Turkish politics by now ~and~ fluent in Turkish. French too. I'm worried about my grades for this year and next year's classes. You should be done with them when you read this. Sarah Hegazy died by suicide a few days ago. I hope the weight's become easier to carry by now. It's okay; You can't remember to be angry about every injustice. Now cross of the things you've gotten since last year: -New clothes -A MacBook (is it an air or pro?) -A goddamned ******* AC -A girlfriend (maybe even a kiss?) -Longer and curlier hair That's all I'm able to think of for now. Make sure you're still taking care of your body. I love you. I want you to know that even if you think nobody will ever understand you so well, I am you and I love you with all that my heart is capable of loving. Stay alive, You
