A letter from June 16th, 2020

Dear FutureMe Right now it’s hard to a black person in America. Know your getting hunted cause your skin, but just know you amazing. George Floyd died by white polices. There was 4 cops. One cop kneed on George while another cop kneed on his back. Then the last cop kneed on his legs. The other cop that wasn’t on George was a minority and he didn’t even tell these cops to stop. These is a second black person ****** for their race. They claimed George had forged 20 dollar check when the 20 dollar check was real. The first do was ahmaud arbery. They weren’t even cops. They stalked him for one year. The only reason because he’s was supposedly trespassing, but he was he was only check the new house. It was a white guy and his son. They did the crime in February and it took them 3 month to get arrested. They didn’t get arrested cause they did the crime, they got arrested cause we saw them. Now George 6 year old goes fatherless and then she’ll grow up with out a father. They’re will be people making fun of her, because she doesn’t have a dad. Do you guys see the pattern? We are protesting for police violence to stop, but there always ignorant people. They didn’t do anything when white people were at the court house screaming and spitting at the cop. These white people were also armed. They were only doing this for a haircut and also they wanted to get life back to how it was. Even know we were in the middle of a Pandemic. When we are protest to stop us from getting ******, but when we do it the news source calls us thug. We’re thugs because we want a safer life for our kids, sibling, black people, and ourself. But those white people are reasonably people, because they shouldn’t stay in Quarantine for too long. Some of these white people had the audacity to say this is just like slavery. Please say this year is much better and we got these things to stop. I’m tired of not trusting anybody. I can’t even trust my friends that I’ve been friend with forever. This need to stop and we need stop watching the news, because it’s tearing us apart. I just want us to live in harmony. We are not ask for people who were born white to apologize for their ancestors action. We’re just asking for y’all not to be the racist and we just want to be treated the same. People don’t understand black peoples don’t get treated the same way white people get treated. If I could change your race for a day so you could understand what we go through. Y’all won’t be able to shop without people fooling you think your gonna steal. I never understood why my parents said don’t touch anything, but now I do. Some of Y’all don’t understand that some black people have to buy something before leaving the store. Even if they couldn’t find the product in this store and their going to another store to check for it. Just so people don’t think we’re stealing even if we aren’t. White people cant change what their ancestors do, but we’re not asking you to change yourself. We’re just asking you to treat us like humans and please don’t think your better than us. Cause no one is better than anyone. Please don’t teach your kids on how to be racist. All I’m asking is for us to love one an other. Oh did I mention black people are being lynched again. 3 black guys and one pregnant black girl found hanged on a tree. Outside where every can see them. History is repeating itself. When Martin Luther king was peaceful protesting people hate it. What do you want make Up your mind. This protest isn’t only about George it’s about other black peoples who had the same thing happened to them. So many black dad get ****** and then their kids are now fatherless. Please I’m literally begging for change. Please say they changed over time. Please I’m literally begging we can’t keep going with a world like this. I can’t wait to see the results in a few years.
