A letter from April 9th, 2020

Time Travelled — almost 3 years

Peaceful right?

Hey Happy 20th birthday! You will probably remember writing this letter when you were 17, sat at the table sipping water from a cup full of ice because you don’t want to drink it all at once, even though you just ate a tonne of sausage rolls which defeats the entire purpose of not eating... Stuck in quarantine because of COVID-19, being alone with your thoughts sucks,,, a lot. You’re waiting on a verdict from CAMHS on what your problem (or most likely problemS) are. They suspect ASD, depression, anxiety, and social anxiety. You know this of course because you’ll have the diagnosis by now (unless they’ve really f*cked it). I hope were doing better but i doubt it. To be honest i’ll be surprised if you’ve made it this far, but if you have i’m very proud. at the moment my biggest dream is to move to spain or italy and open a bakery/cafe in a beautiful village/small city. It won’t happen but it would be nice haha. You got this -Lucy 9/4/2020
