A letter from August 8th, 2019

Time Travelled — almost 2 years

Peaceful right?

Dear future me, Hey. It’s 13 year old you, from August 8, 2019. Wow, 2019- you might not even think about how time flies so quickly. I got this website from an app you might remember of, tik tok. I hope you still don’t go on it for 5 hours everyday. I’m going through frustrating acne right now and I hope it cleared up for you, knowing how insecure you feel. Remember to get lots of rest. High school is tough (or from what I heard from haha I’m only in middle school). I hope the grade 9 shots were alright and not too worrying. I wonder who your first kiss was- I mean if you had it yet. You’re kind of a loser right now ahaha. Are you taller? Are you still 5’3? Did your face change? Did you have any boyfriends? Not that I expect you to. Did you go to any parties? Do you still wear casual clothes with jeans and a tee-shirt? Do kids still listen to Billie Eilish and BTS? Did you join any sports? What phone do you have now? So much things I want to ask. Today I’m going on a run with my friend and I do hope you remember her cause she is one of your best friends you have. I hope you do get this because I spent a while typing this up for you when I should’ve been getting out of my bed. I want you to read this soon so I won’t send this when you graduate but perhaps when you reach grade 10 or 11. Please write back to yourself when graduating, that would be fun. By the way, you’re doing great. Sincerely, Judy. 🙈
