Dear FutureMe,
I hope you are better. I hope your feeling well and aren’t hurting.. I hope you find yourself where you want to be. As I write this letter I’m getting notes ready for our doctor’s appointment next Monday with one of Dr. Butler’s associates who is a neurologist. I’m getting tests run, I’m pretty excited about it..! Something about this makes me feel like I’m going to get the answers I’ve been looking for and get to be the person I used to and now aspire to be.. Hopefully that’s you.. You’re in high school now, I wonder if you’re in public school and are playing sports.. Maybe you’re in dance? I have no clue where I’m headed but maybe, just maybe things will be okay.. I have a lot going on now, I’m pretty lonely as most of my friends are usually busy and I’m not ever up to doing much.. I pray it gets better.. I’m having a battle against my health and sadly I’m losing.. But I hope you've won the war. Life is extremely difficult in this moment and I pray that you will read this and laugh. Laugh at the irony of worrying about something that turned out so well. That would be the best feeling in the world. I hope it's happening for you now.
If you are not better-- if your heart is in disrepair and you are in
a place you do not want to be-- then know that this letter was simply addressed too early. That the time will come.
Try again. You'll get it right someday.
Love,
You
