A letter from April 24th, 2019

Time Travelled — almost 2 years

Peaceful right?

Dear Future Me, What's up! I'm writing this on April 24, 2019, just to give you an update on what's happening in my life, and a little request from 2019 Me. As for what's happening in my life - I'm chillin' right now, honestly! I'm really happy. Well...there's some stuff I'm changing, but I'm really making progress. I'm super proud of myself, and the long way that I've come. Less serious - right now, super popular stuff: Old Town Road by Lil' Naz (I don't recommend it unless you're in a country music sorta mood), the Woah (shift both hands in quick circular movements, fingers curled in, thumbs up, then stop suddenly), Ariana Grande's song "break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored," and Billy Eilish's song "bad guy." Also - Dad just discovered the "He's got his airpods in, he can't hear us" meme (right now, that's like 2 months old), and I'm trying to get him to laugh at Anti-Vax memes (no progress at the moment). Anyways! According to my calculations, you're graduating in about 2 weeks. (God. That's terrifying.) I'm really proud of you. You're actually graduating! You did it! I bet by now you've been accepted to some awesome college far, far away from home, and you've got a cute boy/girlfriend who you love, and Rigby, the best dog in the world, is still alive. I know it might be scary, but - here comes my little request - please, be brave. You've got this. You've gone through things scarier than graduation. I know you don't want to grow up, but if Mom and Dad could do it, you definitely can. You've always had it in you - it just got a little lost at first. I love you. Always have, and always will. - Past Me
