A letter from August 21st, 2018

Dear FutureMe, I have just started middle school and today was my second day at Herman Intermediate!! I'm so happy! I'm 11 years old and I'm turning 12 next MONTH!! I'm so excited. I want airpods for my birthday! Sooo there's this kid in my piano class (Ms. Lovejoy's class) that's kinda cute! I really wanna start a conversation with him but it feels like it's impossible to do so because we always sit far away from each other. And! There's this kid in Mrs. Maguire's class (math class) who kept staring at me today. We talked a bit, he's taller than me by a lot and tried to make jokes with me. He doesn't sit too far away from me, so that's always nice! I wanna be his friend too, but I barely even know his name so I gotta learn a lot about him. I've moved on from Ethan, my crush from LAST YEAR. I'm a BIIIG twenty one pilots fan so far and I think I'll love them forever. Today I wore my hot topic exclusive twenty one pilots hoodie and black leggings with my black and white nikes. Yay! I might wear something cute to impress the guy in my class ;) but anyway. I'm so excited for you to read this in the bright future. Are you dating? Into someone? Ooh! Is the kid in my math or piano class into you? Did you meet them at least? I really like all of my teachers honestly, they're all really good. I bet you're a freshman in high school by now. That's crazy, or maybe a sophomore!! That's insane!! Well, I'm very good friends with Allie, my internet friend who I call "dad" and she calls me "son". I hope you have the best time in high school. I'm really happy I made this.
