A letter from August 22nd, 2016

Dear FutureMe, This is you from a year ago. Hey. I'm about to start high school, I'm scared about the tests but otherwise loving life. Stella and Maya start school tomorrow. How was the first year of CHS? How did Kokoro vb go? honestly these are the things I'm most stressed about and I'm not even feeling that bad. BWCA gave me a toon of clarity and I loved it. If you haven't gotten away from the streets and toxic people before starting 10th grade, go. now. I love you. Like truly love you and that feels really good. I have songs that I know mean a lot to me and stories that are mine to keep and i feel like, as lame as it sounds, I'm becoming my own friend. Go out and love yourself, Ella.
