Dear FutureMe, I just looked at my last letter to myself and I've realized that things haven't changed too much. So, my hope is that when I open this in a year, things are better and not the same. Do you have a relationship with your father yet? Did you keep your promise to not attempt suicide again? Are you even alive? I hope you are. Are you doing okay in school now? I just want you to know that although it's hard, you will make it to the next day and you will be happy and the even though you beat yourself up continuously, you are perfect.
