Dear FutureMe, It's supposed to be your 6 year anniversary with Matthew today. It's January 13, 2009 as I am writing this. Max's 23rd birthday should have been on the 7th. How is he? Do you still talk to him? If he's alive, talk to him. He's been a huge part of your life so far. Are you still with Matthew? Where do you live? Right now you're planning on moving to Texas again in a couple of months and you're idealistic and full of love and terror. You're writing a book, and if its not finished or near finished, get off your *** and start working on it again. Do you still raise hell? If not, start again. It's inside you somewhere. If you're not still with Matthew, then don't freak out about this e-mail. He was great, a wonderful person, but he probably did something really ****** up and you just don't deserve that. If you're pregnant, get an abortion ASAP. This isn't part of the plan! If you're not in school then go tomorrow and enroll. No more ******* excuses. You're too smart to give up on that.
