Dear FutureMe,
You are tentatively preparing to move back to Texas and be with Matthew after almost 3 years of hoping and ******** and moaning. If you're still in Kentucky, or things didn't work out, then please just move on if you haven't already. You gave it absolutely everything you had, you loved him as much as it is possible to love someone and that's all you can do. Focus on you. Do the things you love, paint, draw, read, write (finish your book!)
IF YOU'RE NOT TOGETHER, DON'T READ THIS NEXT PARAGRAPH, IT WILL MAKE YOU SAD AND NOSTALGIC.
Hopefully though you are in Texas and you and Matthew are as in love as always and you've celebrated your 6th anniversary and maybe you're buying or have bought a house? If not, whatever. As long as you are together. Remember to treat him as well as he treats you, better even, and to be appreciative of him and all the things he does for you.
Has Granny passed? If she hasn't, call her often, because she's sick now and I don't think she has long but she's tough. Hopefully you got over your **** and called her more often and let her and poppy know exactly how much you love and appreciate everything they have done for you.
Do you still talk to Sara? If not, get back in contact with her, and Chanda. Did she and Mike get married? Are Gary and Sara still together?
Are you and Matthew engaged or any closer to it? Have you learned or started to learn to let go of the past and all the ********? Do that.
Whatever happens, you're going to be okay. Right now you're about to call Matthew and then go to sleep and soon hopefully you'll be together again and all the bad **** that has happened will be behind you and you will finally be able to start both your own life, and the life that you and Matthew will have together, whatever that is.
PS- FINISH YOUR BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!
Epilogue
