Dear Kat,
Yesterday we turned 28! after hearing from 1 year ago me today, I realized I am not in fact getting my RN. I am still in LOVE with the same person who brings me so much love and joy and happiness. we got a puppy together! A corgi named Odin! and yesterday as a great birthday gift, the house you put an offer in was accepted and you will be a homeowner in less than a month! how surreal things have been recently. my meds are working and I'm not longer in terrible chronic pain. I am ready to start working again. I even have a job interview today across the bridge! this past year changed me for the better. Despite still struggling with my chronic illnesses, I met amazing new friends this year. I learned more about myself and how that affects my life. I started doing more hard work in therapy. all while maintaining a clean apartment, taking care of the animals, going to my appointments and not losing hope. and also despite having a STRESSFUL AF election season, your worst fears became a reality right in front of your eyes. you are part of a group of people who fight fascism and racism in America and in our community. you have not abandoned all hope on yourself or the state of the nation. punch a nazi, curse out the MAGA people always. and F politeness. people still continue to suck and be awful people, YOU CANNOT CHANGE THEM. FOCUS ON YOU AND J. Stay grateful and humble for all blessings we have recieved! stay strong Kat. we love you❤️28yo Kat
