A letter from Dec 12, 2023

Time Travelled — almost 1 year

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, How have you been doing? I sent a letter back from 2022 to you in 2027. I don't remember what it was but I'm sure I was miserable back then. I hope things will be looking up in 2027. But, this letter is for you at the end of 2024. At this point in 2023, you had just been offered a promotion. You had to take a test to prove that you deserved the position. You did, and you did not feel good about how things turned out. It got a little messy, there was some dead silence. The result hadn't come yet, but you had finally come to terms with the possibility that you would not get this promotion. It's okay, we might not be ready for new responsibility now, but we definitely will in the future. No matter how things turn out, I just want you to know that I'm proud of you. Please try, please seize every opportunity. I know this is hard for us as an introvert, but everything is hard, you just need to have the balls to deal with it. Just know that we will have no regrets at all if we at least try. Stay awesome, Lynn
