A letter from Jun 19, 2023

Dear FutureMe, We just got an email from ourselves from a year ago, in the email we talked about how we felt when Jenn confessed to liking us (😂) and how salty was still in the picture sort of. And also we mentioned a guy named kaeden?? (I don't remberd who that is) The email ended with us wishing we got it all sorted out and that we were in a healthy relationship. So today about a year later I wish I could tell you how different things are, school ended last Thursday and summer school starts in about a week. We have an amazing group of friends (Evan/mia/Ethan and john) our sophomore year of HS went by very quick and it was pretty fun, we made so many great memories and went through a lot of friendships. (More ok that Ina sec) So about Jenn, a year ago we were confused about liking her, and now she's a good friend of ours we spent the entire school year in classes with her and going to dutch with her for lunch. Jenn is a great friend who's now in a great relationship, Jenn also introduced/played matchmaker for us and Evan. (As of today we are in the akward talking stage with Evan but we really REALLY like him) Salty is also no longer in the picture, around the end of summer '22 we cut contact with him. It was hard and it took 3 tries but we now have absolutely no contact with him and we are happy, we miss him every now and then but deep down we know he wasn't a great person and the feeling we had were never shared. During the school year we also got into a 2 months long relationship with ronin (that followed a 5 months long talking stage) we broke up with ronin and got back together, but realized he just wants our match. We also learned Gabe was a totally ******* and cheater and the entire time we were talking and stuff HE LITTERLY HAD A GF she broke up with shortly after learning about the situation and now we are amazing friends, she's truly our ride or die 🤎 (ily sky) Tonight we are going to go watch a movie with our friend group from English and I'd say we are in a great place, we still struggle a bit with eatting and our food relationship but we are happy. ALSO we finally got a job!! We work with kids! We like the job but it's not a very professional daycare and we are going to start looking for a new job after our birthday. So future me, I hope things work out with Evan and we are happy still. Your amazing, and you can get through anything. :)
