A letter from Jun 10, 2023

hey :) today's the first day of school! i hope it's as glorious as we imagined it to be- as amazing as, say, our first day of seventh grade. speaking of, our last day of seventh grade is in five days. kind of crazy, kind of sad, kind of exciting. summer's going to be okay, ik it is. and eighth grade...i cannot tell you how LUCKY you are to be experiencing that right now. seventh grade was pretty slay, and really the only thing that would've made it slayer was being out, to everyone. and that's what i'm doing eighth grade (as you know) and i'm genuinely so so so so so excited. i know the eighth graders are gone, i know it's kind of sad, but hey, they'll be back. will's gonna stage manage, aster's coming back for voe sometimes, it's gonna be okay. i know it is. so! todaY! i know you can't reply really, but please do- i want to know everything. get all your syllabuses signed, and then send me a long, long letter about how magical today was. if it wasn't...who am i kidding, romanticzation saves lives, it was magical, you made it magical, i know you did. alright, i'll be sending you more letters about the last week, but things are winding down here. i'm kind of sad- i love my team, it's amazing, but next year will be okay. better than okay. you have drama, theater class, geometry, year-round spanish, pick-your-own pltw......................i cannot wait to see what we can do next year. good luck my beautiful boy <3
