Dear noriko,
I just wanted to share a few pieces of advice that have become very inherent these past few months. I think these are all important to remember and will help build a solid foundation in the episodes of your growth.
Well, first things first...
**** them with kindness. You're naturally a kind person so in moments of trial, stay patient and true to your values. Kindness is a strong defender and it speaks volume when conflict surrounds you.
Hold yourself accountable. You know yourself better than anyone and you're confident enough to admit when you're wrong. Apologize, learn, and move on.
Don't dwell on what's done.
Overthinking will get you nowhere. You've struggled with anxiety and maybe you'll never stop being an over thinker but allow yourself to let go of things. Allow God to take control and trust that he has already made things right.
The grass isn't greener on the other side, its green where you water it. Create a space and environment that allows you to thrive. Know that you're already in the best position and make do with the tools you have. Create opportunities that you can't find.
Lastly, show gratitude. I read in a book that "gratitude is greatness." and now swear by that. It's hard to be in a bad mood when you're grateful for the things you already possess. I've lived a very fortunate life so far and when I remind myself of that, I'm met with ease and fulfillment.
I hope this was a good reminder for you. You're intelligent in the way you move and at the end of the day greatness will be your only outcome.
