A letter from Mar 02, 2023

hey, it's been a BUSY few weeks here, what about you? drama for the past 3 weeks has been...lovey? three rehearsals ago, we realized we had a crush on w. we fell so hard for him for about a week- and then two rehearsals ago, we fell even harder, if that was possible. but after that rehearsal, we found out he didn't feel that way about us, and that took a minute to get through, but we got over him. and this past drama...p's been acting weird for a bit but everyone was being really suspicious tuesday afternoon, and we found out that he had a crush on us, and was planning to tell us wednesday at drama. so, after some thought, we realized we liked him, too. and he spent all of wednesday avoiding us (easier then than normally, since he was doing something for a school assembly all day) and then, at drama, slipped this note in our binder. it was the sweetest thing, grammatical errors or not. it was a weird time- we were running songs and so we couldn't go over and talk to him- but after the songs, we just walked up and hugged him, and he hugged us back, and we just stayed like that for a minute. we went back in the auditorium and everyone was making faces at us, mouthing "did you do it?" w was there, and it's so funny now that we're over him that he was so invested in this whole thing. everyone kept asking us and p if we were dating, and neither of us knew, and w and r were making faces at us for the rest of rehearsal, trying to get us to ask. the coward that we are, we didn't, but thank god, p did. he called us over to the side of the stage at the end of rehearsal, and just went "do you want to go out with me?" and we smiled really big, and i can't even remember if we said yes or just nodded a lot, and then we hugged again for, like, a solid minute. everyone was yelling "I SHIP" and "AWWW" and k went "aw i really wanna hug both of you guys...but i don't like hugs" which was really funny lol. then we stood outside for half an hour, got yelled at by ms. f, got undisowned by our dad and mom, l and b, (in the drama club family tree not real life lol), and talked about being illegal for being *** in 79 countries. all in all, it's been good here. a lot of anxiety recently, but we have therapy every other monday now :)) i'd like to do more of a mental health update, but we need to get ready for school. ttyl <3
