28 April 2022 - One Year Until 18

Dear FutureMe, Let's see how well this ages, shall we? Hell, I don't even know why I'm doing this again. It just popped up in my email to remind me that this website is, in fact, still a thing that exists. Eh, it's better than paying attention to math class. At no point in my career as a filmmaker will I ever need to know what a polynomial is. I know that by this point, Obi-Wan Kenobi, The Bad Batch Season 2, Andor, and most likely The Mandalorian Season 3 should've ended by this point. Probably also that as-of-yet unannounced Tales of the Jedi animated short series too. But I wonder, will Ahsoka be out, or at least have a release date by this point? Will Fallen Order 2 be out, and better yet, will I have beaten it? Will I have gotten 100% on LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga? Maybe we have a definitive answer on whether or not Rogue Squadron is delayed/cancelled. If it isn’t, have we seen footage of it yet? Oh, and your opinion on the Sequel Trilogy better not have changed. On the topic of non-related shows and movies, does The CW finally pull the plug on The Flash? Does Halo get any better? Are Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Thor: Love and Thunder, The Marvels, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 any good? I wonder what my Letterboxd ranking will look like by this point lmao. Maybe bloody Lightyear will somehow be the best movie of the decade. Oh also, did they finally announce Morbius 2-6? Only time will tell. And by the time I receive my own letter, that time will have already told. In terms of le video gaming, how’s that **** going? KOTOR Remake when? What about Spider-Man 2? Has TT Games announced a new LEGO game, or did 2K get to that first? How did that LEGO X 2K sports games rumor even turn out? On a more personal note, is my life going well? Have we moved to a new house, which mom is so determined to find? Do I have a job at Regal Cinemas? How many more LEGO sets have I gotten? (Side Note: My current total of sets is 247) Have I reached my goal of getting the UCS Falcon? Who knows... ANYWAY, I've set this to send back to myself on my 18th birthday, May 17, 2023. On that note, happy suffering, future me. Adulthood's boutta be a living hell. I simply hope to make the best of every second of it. And don’t forget, Morbius is one of the movies of all time.
