A letter from Apr 12th, 2022

Dear FutureMe, You will find this cringy af, but hey, this will just be between us. How are you? When I wrote this letter, I -Was in a moonboot on crutches -Liked flower boy -Was still mates with Sam and Steph (the gc hasn’t died yet) -Was reading the book renegades -Had the goal of reaching a nats qualifier (59.54/73.13) -had 2 state medals from country champs -dad was working in snowy -didn’t really have solid friends at SCAS (oh god pls if anything changes just let it be the friends thing) -was in the process of drafting “to walk home under a blackened sky” Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that you’ve got this. As I’m writing this I cannot wait to see how much I grow because I know that this time in 2021 (writing in 2022) was an absolute mess. Maybe 2023 will be a lil bit better. You haven’t come this far to give up now. Inspire yourself and use that inspiration for others. Do good. Serve god. Smash those goals and be there when others need it. I hope 12 months hasn’t been too short of a time for me to forget about you, but I’ll write a 5 year one anyway. And remember You’ve got this ❤️Grace 12/4/2022
