A letter from Feb 19th, 2022

Time Travelled — 5 months

Peaceful right?

Hey, it's been a while since I've written a letter. I want to receive one this year so this ones going to you at the end of July. So uhmm...yeah. I guess I should start. Since it's just a 5 month difference I won't talk about big things. So you hopefully made it through your freshmen year (9th grade). That's great! Don't worry if you didn't get the best grades. You made it and tried your best. I know it's hard but don't give up so easily. If mom yelled at you for that, well then fuck that. Her opinion doesn't matter to you. End of that. She doesn't want you to get help from the one thing that's really making you struggle in school. And if she doesn't realize that then she really has no right to be mad at you for not getting straight A's. You made it and that's all that matters. 10th grade is probably around the corner. Don't let that overwhelm you. Just take it easy, dont get distracted, try to stay motivated, have your workspace clean, and try to stay physically active. Actually, speaking of workouts, how's calisthenics going. Please tell me you're still consistent with that. If not, then get your ass on the floor right now and give 10 pushups! Seriously -_-. Anyways that's all time I have left for today. It's literally 12:00 PM and I need to go to sleep for the strawberry festival tomorrow. And before my mom comes and yells at me. Have good day or night. Love you - Gabriela

Epilogue

Hey! It's crazy how five months can really change a person. Specifically my mindset about school.
