Dear Future Anne
Hey there, haha. I got bored writing a DBQ so I'm just writing to you right now.
How's your field hockey season going? I bet you feel great knowing that you did your last two mile Tuesday.
I mean, my team's getting there. We're gonna be missing a lot of seniors. I'm interested to see how Libby fares in Monmouth University.
I'm probably getting shitty grades in the future, but, y'know, let me know.
On the bright side, I'm looking to get recruited. Fascinating, isn't it?
I hope I do get recruited. Otherwise everything goes to shit.
Had a psychotic breakdown recently. Thought everyone was playing a sick joke on me n shit. How's your mental health? Have you talked to dad about, yknow, him being an ass to you?
I hope so. I want you to feel good about yourself and not like absolute crap. It's...sad, to say the least.
I just want to tell you that you are doing fantastic. Even if you're stressed about field hockey, schoolwork, or anything, just know you are the best person out there. I can say that because I'm you. I already know who you are and how you are as a person.
Don't let dad or anyone else get you down. You're a fantastic field hockey player, and, with that, you're going to fulfill your dreams of becoming a top defender.
You might not play for the best team, but you're still playing. That's all that counts. After that, you can pursue your dream of becoming a comic artist and finally publishing Among Ruptured Souls.
You got this. Baby steps.
Yours truly,
me.
