Time Travelled — 10 months

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Hi future me! By the time that you receive this, I survived my first year of college -- which I hope so. Oh, and the future has changed too obviously. I'm going to stay at home and commute to a university nearby. Pretty much cool right? I heard it has its own pros and cons, but I hope you did survive commuting there. Seems fun staying at home while your high school friends are having fun, moving out of SF, or literally just staying in a community college. I want to know how did it go? How was your first year of college? Was it fun? Was it interesting? Was it hard according to the YouTube people that gave advice? About Covid-19, is it really over? Have the cases gone down? I really want to be able to have a normal life despite everything. I'm going into a hybrid for university, which I'm looking forward to. However, Covid-19 cases are going up because of the Delta Variant and I'm just not looking forward to that. >.< But hey, I know everything will be temporary and it'll be all over hopefully. Have you kept the same friends? I know that people don't regularly keep in touch with their high school friends. I'd like to be able to keep in touch with a few people at least, probably because that'd be interesting and I can see what goes on with them. Oh and some online friends would be nice to keep in touch with. A Discord server I was in had some drama a month ago, and I found out some people didn't like me. I ended up leaving the server last night, so that was fun. I do admit I do miss some people, not just in that Discord server -- but also some I met before. It kinda sucks when you get lonely thinking about them lol. I wonder if you did end up reaching out to that person or at least started talking every single day again. I have so many questions right below this letter... What clubs or organizations have you joined? What animes have you watched? What video games have you been playing recently? Have you passed all of your classes? Did you end up making some new friends? Is Visual Communications Design still your major? I think it's a fun major and I like designing stuff. :) Well, future me... Good luck! I know you did it and I know you did survive this year. It must have been a difficult transition for you but in the end, it was worth it. Sincerely, J <3
