A letter from Jul 28th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, Hi! How's it going? I assume you've finished your first year at Bible college and that's great! I hope you've learnt an awful lot and that God has continued to reveal himself to you in many different ways (I have no doubt that he has). Have you met some new friends while you were there? Any boyfriends? Pfft, a girl can dream...although God can certainly work miracles so we'll not rule it out. I hope you've managed to make it to America at last. Although by the way the world is going I'm not sure if travelling will even be an option for you by then. It would be awesome to go and visit Colorado though, you've only been waiting six (well, by next year it will be seven) years to go there! And you said you would meet Tyler next year. He's just got engaged, too! On the other hand, maybe you've already used his wedding as an excuse to get across...? Here's to hoping. Anyways, I've just finished doing my first Exodus team last week and it was the most fun I've had in so long. I feel so blessed having such amazing people- TWO whole church communities- behind me and they've been rooting for me since day one! Remember how much they loved you and to love them back just as much! Also just because I never want you to forget the inside jokes: It's vinegar, the mists of madness, Ukes at the Port, "some things are beautiful because they're sad", sneaking out at 2am and convincing grandmother she was dreaming and that it all started with a ukulele band. Good Times. OK, I'll leave you alone now because I really need to sleep. Ginger is picking me up tomorrow morning to go to Rathlin. Yes, we are taking the vinegar.
